How to play Poker

Play no-limit Texas Hold’em with friends.

Open a casual Poker table with play-money chips. Choose the blinds, starting stack, and maximum number of hands, then invite friends or add bots. Each match starts with fresh chips; there are no purchases, deposits, or cash payouts.

01 / The essentials

Poker rules

  • Each player receives two private cards. Make your best five-card hand using any combination of your cards and the five community cards.
  • Play proceeds clockwise through preflop, flop, turn, and river. Check when nothing is owed, call to match, raise the total bet, or fold. All-in players can only win pots they contributed to.
  • Blinds stay fixed and the dealer moves each hand. The match ends after the chosen number of hands or when one player holds all chips. Highest chip total wins; tied totals share a place.
  • Chips have no monetary value. There are no deposits, purchases, or cash payouts.

Read your five-card hand

Your two private cards and the five community cards provide seven cards to choose from. The best five determine your hand; you can use two, one, or none of your private cards. Shared cards may give several players the same hand.

Watch the price to continue

Check costs nothing when no bet is owed. Call matches the current bet up to your remaining chips. Raise sets your total contribution for this street, rather than adding the entered amount to the previous bet.

Keep track of the table

Look at who is still in the hand, their remaining chips, and the dealer position. Folded players cannot win this pot. An all-in player stays eligible only for the pots covered by their contribution.

What a raise amount means

If you have already put in 10 chips on this street and choose “Raise to 40”, you add 30 more chips. Other players must match a total of 40 to continue unless they go all-in for less. The controls show the legal minimum and your available maximum.

04 / Put it into practice

Learn with your table

  1. Create a private two-player table and add a bot to learn the turn controls.
  2. Play one hand and inspect the community cards and final showdown before continuing.
  3. Increase the hand limit and invite friends when you are comfortable with calls, raises, and all-ins.

A common mistake

Do not confuse the chips displayed in the pot with the amount needed to call. Check the action button and the total street bet. A strong four-card pattern is not a completed five-card flush or straight.

Is this real-money Poker?

No. The chips are a score for this casual game only. Every match starts fresh and no money changes hands.
